My update on my Cloth Diapering

Hey friends figured I would let you know what I decided about cloth diapering.  I LOVE IT!  Ok...so my next step is to make my big purchase and get the supplies I need to do it full time.  I am planning on buying 2 Flip day packs.  These packs include 2 covers and 6 inserts.  I already have 2 covers and 4 inserts that I purchased from a friend for my trial period.  So I figured with the 2 kiddos in diapers 6 covers and 16 inserts would be a stretch for 2 days but a great amount to get me going and then later maybe get some more inserts.  Eventually I would like to get a washable pail liner and some wet bags for my diaper bag to carry the soiled diapers in.  But I gots to take it one step at a time :) Just have to use walmart bags for the moment :)


If you have any questions feel free to ask me...cloth diapering has been on my mind! (almost too much!!) Its really not going to be that much work (because with disposables I am washing extra clothes of Micah anyhow with all his blowouts) and I will probably save more money than I originally calculated.  A year from now I will be able to really write out a more accurate calculations as I will be keeping an eye on the water bill and how much detergent I use.  But I can already see the detergent is going to stretch further than I thought as my diaper load isn't a full load..and so only have used a tablespoon of detergent per load!

First time sucking his thumb...will he be a thumb sucker? Molly began sucking her thumb at 2 months...he 3 1/2 months and really doesn't do it much...interested to see :)
